All EEC preschool teachers present developmentally appropriate curriculum which is dependent on the child’s developmental status, and is responsive to the individual’s strengths, interests and needs. The EEC uses the Emerging Language and Literacy Curriculum (ELLC). This research-based curriculum focuses on academic readiness and provides lessons which are age appropriate and fun for young children. The Center will be implementing Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) throughout the EEC. This curriculum will help us support social-emotional growth with our children.
