Putting in the request for time off
Karen Murray must be notified by 6:00 a.m. if an employee is to be absent from work. Please text (preferred) or call 417-598-2428 (Karen). I will contact Tara Dalton, who will book a sub to replace you. The more notice we have the better!
In order to receive pay for personal days, they must be scheduled with Karen and Tara one week in advance. Sick and Personal days will be paid according to RSSD policy. All personal and sick days must be entered into SISFIN within 5 days of being absent from work. ALL absences must be entered in SISFIN, even if you are over the number of paid days, within five days of being absent from work. This counts for any day that was a scheduled day to work.

Lesson Plans
Lesson plans for the classroom are to be written and posted on Friday before leaving. Please make sure a copy is on your desk for your sub. Teachers will develop lessons that reflect the individual child’s level of development using target goals and are based on the ELLC curriculum. Resources are available in each classroom to aid in the development of such lesson plans. Resources are also available in the Library and the resource room.
